GED testing
The GED Office at GCC offers two main services: GED (General Educational Development) testing and GED transcripts. GED courses are currently not available at Greenfield Community College. Contact the following local agencies for information about GED preparation.
- The Literacy Project (774-3934) has adult education centers in Greenfield, Turners Falls, Orange, Northampton, Amherst and Ware
- Franklin/Hampshire Career Center (774-3182), One Arch Place, Greenfield
- The Family Learning Center (413) 475-1549, 90 Federal Street, Greenfield, MA
The Family Learning Center supports young parents who need assistance studying for their GED. Free childcare is available while studying for and taking their GED tests.
