We are here to help you make a successful transition from GCC to a baccalaureate degree program. Download and print an overview of our services

  • Major2Career exploration. A three-step process with staff and peer advisors to help students identify potential majors, careers and schools that fit their interests and aptitudes.
  • Weekly transfer drop-in sessions. Want to learn more about all the options and opportunities connected to transfer? Drop-in sessions offered every Monday during the school year, 12:00-12:30, Advising Center (Main Building 2nd floor above the book store). Meet Kathy, the Transfer Coordinator, and bring your lunch and your questions too!
  • Open house opportunities. Thinking about transfer? Open houses at area colleges are a great way to get started. Find out more about area open houses.
  • College reps on campus. Meet recruiters from four-year colleges. Weekly visits from New England schools on the GCC campus during the academic year.

Many of our students transfer to the University of Massachusetts or Massachusetts state colleges. GCC also sends graduates to other top schools in New England and the rest of the country. Check out our list of destination schools from the past three years!
